thinking of that all the hard works had been repay..Alhamdulillah

it is freezing cold for me...(skinny person like me..have no fat to warm the body =p)

again..Detect 1st was there to compete..this time we prepared a small model for an easy traveling stuff..a week before the flight date...i gone through hardship for those 'simple model'...

Brussels is a quite town during winter...
anyway..i still have my best time there =]

1st grand meeting of postgraduate of FSG Uitm was successfully done.
talk by Prof. Haris...food..and funny performance by the student was the best part of the day..

"FIBER BRAGG GRATING TECHNOLOGY FUNDAMENTALS AND OVERVIEW"

1. what is FBG?
Fiber Bragg grating (FBG) is a periodic pertubation of the refractive index along the fiber length which is formed by exposure of the core to an intense optical interference pattern.

2. what is the meaning of 'photosensitivity'?
The growth in back reflected light was explained in terms of a new nonlinear effect called 'photosensitivity' which enables an index grating to be written in the fiber.

3. how does 'photosensitivity' occur?
Coherent light propagating in the fiber interferes with a small amount of light reflected back from the end of the fiber to set up a standing wave pattern which through photosensitivity write an index grating in the fiber core.

it's take me quit long time to update this blog..
i've become super (he..he..) busy for the time being..

we travel by UiTM bus to the Terengganu...it is very tiring journey yet enjoyful for us

Year of Innovation & Creativity UiTM 2010

The Year of INNOVATION & CREATIVITY UiTM 2010 was held at DSB UiTM shah alam on 6th April 2010. The event were launched by YB Dato' Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, Minister of Higher Education, Malaysia.

Once again, photonic's team members display the Detect 1st Optical Fiber Sensor. School students from Sek. Men. Seksyen 18 join the ceremony. Here, i attached few of their photos which looks like they are excited and confuse...don't they???

Malaysia Technology Expo (MTE) 2010

MTE had been held at Putra World Trade Centre.

3rd February, 5 p.m: we should setup our booth...but the contractor did not finish their work yet...we are running out of time because we have to go back to Shah Alam at 6 p.m..
i'm nervous!!!!

4th february, 9 a.m: UiTM exhibition area is completed...
